You know that feeling when you see something you want but you’re not ready to purchase it? And you keep returning to the website or store over and over (and over) again, not quite ready to take the plunge? That’s the type of shopper I’ve become. No longer the impulse shopper I used to be, I now toil over every purchase trying to decide whether it’s worthy of joining my wardrobe. My internal debate isn’t so much over cost – but more wearability. I ask myself – Do I LOVE this item? Is this piece versatile? Is it too trendy? Whether high or low, is it a good value for the price?
This shopping style has recently come back to bite me. Case in point – I’ve been eying the gorgeous and sparkly Miu Mius below for what feels like forever. I spotted them during a random web search, then was further intrigued by sparkles as I saw other bloggers around the web sporting Miu Miu pretties. Check out Kristina from Pretty Shiny Sparkly wearing a different pair here. The ones below are pretty pricey at $595.00, which is why my decision took some time:
Of course, now that I’m ready to buy them (and pair them with some distressed skinny jeans and a sleek blazer), they’re no longer available in my size!? ARGH! I’m going to have to check the store on 57th to see if they’re in stock. If not, I’ll opt for one of the other numbers below since I believe that every gal should add a little sparkle to her closet when she can. They’re less expensive, too, which my wedding budget would appreciate.
I picture myself wearing these when I’m seeking a dose of glamour. Which is pretty much 24/7.
