A Pretty Perfect Blowout…and a Giveaway!
Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve been searching for ways to make blow drying and styling my hair easier. I’ve learned that the key to achieving manageable, healthy hair is all about using the right tools and products. Recently I took the folks at Beauty Stop Online up on an offer to review a few products that are available for purchase on their website, which is a great resource for professional beauty products at discount prices.
I had amazing results. For a long time, I’ve been devoted solely to using Cibu Miso Knotty Leave-in Detangler after washing my hair. Still love my Cibu, but I’ve found a product that (sshhh) I like even better. I spray it in my hair when it’s still soaking wet, then use the Denman brush to remove tangles. I’m amazed at how well this product detangles. Once the tangles are out, my hair is still soaking wet and I wrap it in a microfiber hair towel like this one to get a lot of the water out. A few minutes later I use the blow dryer (my brand of choice is CHI) to blow out the remaining water until my hair is just a little damp. Finally, I separate it out into sections and use the Denman brush, with blow dryer, to get it super straight. Sounds like a lot, but it’s quicker than you might think. The final step involves some serum and either a flat iron or curling iron – but I’ll save that detail for a separate post!!
NOW. For the fun part – a GIVEAWAY! My friends at Beauty Stop Online are generously offering up this product duo to one lucky reader of The Pretty Dish. Enter to win!! Here’s how:
