My husband and I have gone to dinner a few times since having Baby Boy M, but Tuesday night was my first “real” night out. I headed to The Skin Cancer Foundation’s annual gala at The Mandarin Oriental in NYC. I’m no stranger to this annual event, because as many of you know, my day job is Director of Marketing Communications for The Skin Cancer Foundation. However, this year was different because I.WASN’T.WORKING. I actually got to attend the event as a guest, which was great considering the fact that Taye Diggs was hosting and Sting was performing. Great night, overall.
I wore a Ted Baker dress that I’m totally in love with, exclusively available at Bloomingdales (link here). The second I saw it in the catalog, I knew I had to have it.
Here I am wearing the dress…styled with a leather jacket (also seen here), my Alexander Wang “Rockie” tote and Nine West shoes that I bought a few years ago. This look is a nice mix of high and low.
As my maternity leave comes to a close (two and a half more weeks!!) I’m looking forward to jumping back into adding new outfit posts regularly. Talk soon!
